What Reason Could There Be?

Hello. You can call me Cas, Gracie, or Paula, whichever you prefer. Thank you for taking the time to look at my blog. (:

In which I talk about my transgender boyfriend, Ryan.

A) The program itself already exists and can already be downloaded; the Indiegogo is mainly to support ongoing server costs and development.

B) After you install the program, you may need to unblock it/create an exception for it in any firewall software you have before you can actually start giving people access (it automatically ended up getting blocked, for me, and I’m only using the free version of AVG).

C) I was expecting this to have thousands if not hundreds of thousands of users, the way something like Hola or Tor does… right now, there are 397 people online to provide access to others. Total. Worldwide. It’s not really going to work very well unless those numbers go way up, so guys, do the thing.

If you’re protesting abortion, the Supreme Court says you can get right in women’s faces and scream at them on their way into the clinic. Because freedom of speech.

But if you try and protest the murder of a black man, you get tear gas fired at you.

do you ever just passionately miss the first series of doctor who but not just because you miss Nine but because you miss the monsters and the simple story lines that were new and so interesting and the companions that didn’t need a magic back story to be special and weren’t just a new puzzle for the doctor to solve they were just ordinary people with ordinary lives and taught (especially the young viewers) that anyone can be a hero i just really miss season one okay

If James and Lily had survived, I am positive that every time Harry got into trouble, there would be a huge betting pool on whether the next howler would be James and Sirius congratulating him or Lily screaming at him and commanding Severus to give him detention for a month. And as the Potter family owl would arrive, everyone would be silently anticipating the results, and at the end you’d see dumbledore discretely handing mcgonagall 10 galleons

I think one of my favorite things about writing is thinking about how someday I might have people fangirl and cry over my books. And that someday they might love my characters as much as I do. Just … the idea that someday I can share this peice of me with the world and have the world love it too… It keeps me going and makes me so incredibly happy.

Muggleborns gifting their pureblood friends crocs as a joke, and telling them it’s “the highest quality of shoes muggles can make”. Purebloods wearing crocs when they go out into the muggle world, smugly thinking that people are staring because they admire the style and fashion. Lily Evans doing this to James Potter. Harry and Hermione doing this to Ron.

IMAGINE RON SHOWING UP TO MEET HERMIONE’S PARENTS AND HE’S WEARING FUCKING LIME GREEN CROCS

If you’ve cut a negative person from your life, whether they were abusive or just someone who wasn’t a positive influence on you, at NO POINT in your healing are you required to let that person BACK into your life.

Your healing should never be contingent on you bringing people who have harmed you back into your space. Your healing does not require you to give these people a second chance to harm you.
